About the Role We're looking for a Recruiter with approximately 4–7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience who loves the craft of recruiting and wants to build a long-term career as an exceptional individual contributor. This role is ideal for someone who finds fulfillment in identifying great talent, building meaningful relationships with candidates, and partnering with hiring managers to make outstanding hires. Reporting to the Head of Talent, you'll execute recruiting strategies across technical and non-technical roles while partnering closely with hiring managers and Recruiting Operations to deliver an exceptional candidate experience. You'll have the autonomy to own your searches while working within the hiring strategy and priorities established by Talent leadership. This is intentionally an individual contributor role. We are looking for someone who wants to be a recruiter, not someone looking for a quick path into people management. Experience recruiting within a startup environment is required, with technology startup experience strongly preferred. Experience recruiting in Defense Tech and hiring candidates with active U.S. security clearances is also strongly preferred. Responsibilities Execute recruiting searches and hiring initiatives under the direction of the Head of Talent. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across assigned technical and non-technical roles, from kickoff through accepted offer. Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruiting process while executing established hiring strategies and interview plans. Source and engage exceptional passive talent using creative sourcing techniques and modern recruiting tools. Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Conduct recruiter screens and evaluate candidates for alignment with role requirements, company values, and team needs. Drive an exceptional candidate experience through proactive communication, responsiveness, organization, and thoughtful follow-up. Maintain a strong sense of urgency, ensuring candidates move efficiently through every stage of the hiring process. Keep hiring managers informed through regular communication, market insights, and search updates. Maintain accurate candidate records, interview feedback, and recruiting data in Greenhouse. Partner closely with Recruiting Operations to ensure a seamless interview, offer, and onboarding experience. Represent TurbineOne professionally and enthusiastically in every candidate interaction. Contribute ideas that improve recruiting processes, hiring efficiency, and candidate experience Qualifications Required 4–7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience. Experience recruiting in a startup or high-growth environment (technology startup experience strongly preferred). Experience successfully recruiting both technical and non-technical talent. Demonstrated success recruiting software engineers and other technical professionals. Strong sourcing experience with the ability to identify, engage, and close passive candidates. Experience managing multiple concurrent searches while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve quickly. A strong sense of urgency balanced with sound judgment. Passion for delivering an exceptional candidate experience. Comfortable working under the direction of the Head of Talent while building trusted partnerships with hiring managers across the organization. A genuine desire to continue growing as an individual contributor rather than seeking an immediate path into people management. Preferred Experience recruiting within a Defense Tech company. Experience recruiting candidates with active U.S. security clearances. Familiarity with government contracting or national security organizations. Experience using Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, and other modern recruiting tools.
