Job description
We are looking for a Recruiter - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting.
The Recruiter serves as a strategic talent acquisition consultant, leading
recruitment efforts across assigned client groups. This role partners closely
with leaders to understand workforce needs, design targeted recruiting
strategies, and provide informed guidance and recommendations related to hiring
decisions.
The Recruiter applies independent judgment, market expertise, and data-driven
insights to assess talent, manage high-impact searches, and deliver a
high-quality candidate and stakeholder experience. This role leverages
recruiting technology, ensures compliance with employment practices, and
contributes to workforce planning and talent initiatives that support
organizational priorities and long-term business outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities
* Partner proactively with department and functional leaders to assess current
and future talent needs, align on hiring priorities, and develop targeted
recruitment strategies.
* Facilitate regular check‑ins with hiring leaders to review hiring progress,
discuss challenges, and adjust recruiting approaches based on business needs
and market conditions.
* Develop, maintain, and execute recruitment strategies and workforce plans for
assigned client groups, incorporating pipeline development, sourcing
approaches, and timing considerations.
* Exercise independent judgment in the use of Voyager and related recruitment
technologies to effectively manage, prioritize, and execute recruitment
activities for assigned client groups.
* Maintain ongoing visibility into requisition and candidate pipelines,
assessing workflow status, risks, and bottlenecks, and taking proactive
action to ensure timely hiring outcomes.
* Develop and manage multi‑channel job advertising and posting strategies that
align with workforce priorities, labor market conditions, and hiring demand
for assigned client groups.
* Regularly evaluate open requisitions and candidate flow to assess the
effectiveness of advertising and sourcing strategies, adjusting approach as
needed to optimize reach and results.
* Research, evaluate, and recommend appropriate advertising and sourcing
channels—including digital platforms, professional associations, educational
institutions, and specialty networks—based on role requirements and market
dynamics.
* Serve as a professional ambassador for Texas Children’s at recruiting events,
career fairs, and external talent forums, promoting the organization’s
mission, culture, and employment value proposition.
* Partner with leadership and recruitment teams to determine appropriate events
and outreach opportunities that align with hiring priorities and workforce
strategies.
* Apply professional judgment to evaluate candidates’ work history, education,
competencies, career motivations, and compensation expectations in relation
to organizational and department needs.
* Partner with hiring leaders and Human Resources colleagues to evaluate
finalist readiness and ensure all pre‑employment requirements are identified
and addressed.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree required
* 1-year professional recruiting and/or Talent Acquisition experience required
* Hospital or Healthcare experience highly preferred
