To learn more about Trulieve and our mission, please visit www.trulieve.com Requisition ID: 21569 Remote Work Available: No Job Title: Retail Field Operations Specialist Department: Retail Operations Reports To: Retail Field Operations Manager FLSA Status: Regular Exempt Location: Broward County, FL ROLE SUMMARY: The Retail Field Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the Retail Field Operations Manager with operational procedures, systems, continued learning, and business processes for the areas they support. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with managing, facilitating, and increasing communication and efficiency between departments. Conduct field support visits to ensure retail standards are maintained. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the area/s you support, pertaining to all systems and regulations. Provide recommendations to the Retail Field Operations Manager to improve operations and drive growth. Monitor daily productivity, recommending modifications to improve overall effectiveness of personnel and operations. Assist with system and technology training and implementation. Support in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to increase efficiency within the designated area. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate updates and enhancements to meet operational needs and function as expected. Determine training needs by observing operational opportunities, studying sales results, consulting with General Manager and Area Managers during store visits. Conduct on-site training sessions using various training methods to engage employees, including hands-on and interactive activities. Assist with the implementation of training programs that will prepare employees for the next step of their career paths. Identify needs and strategize operational plans for visual merchandising and store aesthetics, customer flow, product organization, and asset protection in retail locations. Execute and maintain Trulieve’s National Visual Standards Guide to ensure alignment. Collaborate with Marketing & Retail on initiatives involving such as visual directives, branded SWAG/merchandise, team uniforms and other promotional materials (i.e., GWP items). Provide support with new store openings to ensure the store and team are prepared for Grand Opening and understand operations moving forward. Other miscellaneous assigned projects and responsibilities as directed. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Prior operations experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area, is a plus. Self-starter with a history of pushing for deadline-driven results and deliverables Process improvement and documentation; Attention to detail; time-management, prioritization, and organizational skills. Observant, analytical, inquisitive, and attentive. Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with a variety of personalities at various seniority levels. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. SAP and State required compliance/inventory management system knowledge preferred Must possess the ability to train, develop and evaluate a team Able to communicate in conversational English to work effectively with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment (computer, laptop), comprehend safety procedures, and utilize telecommunication devices. Able to understand and follow written/oral instructions. ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a MVR background check Must be able to pass a level 1 and level 2 background check Must be at least 21 years of age Must function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies. Must be able to relate to and work with patrons of different ages, abilities, and patrons that at times are experiencing emotional distress, or displaying a hostile attitude. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is: Consistently required to move/traverse throughout facilities, including tight spaces Accurately communicate and exchange sensitive information and ideas with others, including members of the public; observe/inspect details at varying ranges; operate computing devices. Frequently required to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights (e.g., products, packaging, tools, office machinery): push/pull objects up to 50lbs; lift/carry/position objects up to 50 lbs.; ascend/descend stool/ladder/steps; position self and/or objects at floor level (e.g., crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl). Occasionally required to remain in a seated position. Must have visual and auditory acuity with or without aids to perform all functions of the position. WORK SCHEDULE: 45+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on business needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays. Travel 75%-90% of work schedule.
