An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced, career rota nanny to join a warm and welcoming international family based in Athens. The successful candidate will provide outstanding care for five children aged between 0 and 12 years old. You will be working alongside a maternity nanny with focus on supporting the older children while gradually becoming involved in the youngest child's routine. This is a long-term position within a fully staffed private household, working in partnership with an established rota nanny. The family are highly engaged parents who value collaboration and are seeking someone who can seamlessly integrate into their home, providing consistency, structure and exceptional care. For an experienced rota nanny who thrives in a professional household and enjoys taking ownership of the children's day-to-day lives, this is a truly rewarding opportunity. You will take full responsibility for managing the children's routines during your rotation, ensuring every aspect of their daily lives runs smoothly. From planning educational and engaging activities to overseeing wardrobes, travel preparation and daily organisation, you'll be someone who enjoys creating calm, structure and consistency within a busy family environment. The ideal candidate is someone who requires minimal direction, demonstrates excellent judgement and is confident making decisions independently, escalating only matters that genuinely require parental involvement. Working closely with the parents, your rota counterpart and the wider household team, you'll play an integral role in maintaining the high standards expected within this well-run private home. Key Responsibilities · Providing exceptional care and support for five children across a range of ages. · Planning stimulating, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity and development. · Managing daily routines with confidence, consistency and flexibility. · Taking ownership of children's wardrobes, laundry, packing and organisation. · Preparing nutritious meals for the children as required. · Maintaining tidy, organised children's bedrooms, playrooms and personal spaces. · Coordinating children's travel arrangements and preparing for international trips. · Working collaboratively with parents, household staff and the second rota nanny to ensure seamless handovers and continuity of care. · Travelling internationally with the family throughout the year. Accommodation & Benefits · Private bedroom and bathroom provided during working rotations. · Flights between the UK and Athens for each rota will be arranged and paid for by the family. · All required work visas will be organised by the family. · Opportunity to join a welcoming, long-term household with excellent support from an experienced team. If you are an experienced rota nanny seeking a long-term position with a lovely international family, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
You will be an experienced rota nanny with a proven background working within fully staffed private households and caring for multiple children of varying ages. Warm, engaging and energetic by nature, you'll combine a nurturing approach with exceptional organisational skills and a calm, solutions-focused mindset. Above all, you'll be proactive, dependable and committed to building a long-term relationship with the family. Candidate Requirements · Previous experience in a rota nanny position within a fully staffed private household. · Extensive experience caring for multiple children across different age groups. · Strong understanding of child development and the ability to create engaging, age-appropriate activities. · Exceptional organisational skills with experience managing children's routines, wardrobes, packing and travel logistics. · Highly self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently without day-to-day direction. · Excellent judgement with the confidence to make decisions and solve problems autonomously. · Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and household staff. · Flexible, adaptable and professional with a genuine team-player mentality. · Willing and able to travel internationally on a regular basis. · Confident driver preferred.
