RTX Business Manager (UK)Location: London, UK (Hybrid – travel as required)Department: Regent Talent ExchangeReporting to: CEO OfficeOverall PurposeThe RTX Business Manager (UK) will lead the candidate lifecycle for the Regent Talent Exchange programme, with primary responsibility for recruitment, selection, placement, and visa compliance. The role ensures high-quality candidate outcomes and successful placements, while maintaining full compliance with US immigration requirements. This position requires strong operational leadership and close collaboration with US counterparts to ensure global alignment and programme excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesCandidate Recruitment & SelectionDesign and deliver end-to-end recruitment strategiesManage outreach, screening, interviews, and selection processesEnsure candidate quality, readiness, and cultural fitBuild and maintain strong candidate pipelinesPlacement Matching & Programme DeliveryLead matching between candidates and host companiesEnsure alignment between candidate goals and opportunitiesOversee onboarding and pre-departure processesMonitor progress and resolve issuesVisa & Compliance ManagementManage US J1 visa processesEnsure compliance with immigration regulationsLiaise with legal and compliance teamsMaintain audit-ready documentationCandidate Experience & WelfareAct as main point of contact for candidatesEnsure a high-quality participant experienceAddress challenges proactivelyCross-Regional CollaborationWork with US teams to align pipelinesEnsure smooth candidate handoverShare insights to improve outcomesMonitoring & ReportingTrack recruitment and placement KPIsProduce reports for leadershipDrive continuous improvementAdditional ResponsibilitiesSupport marketing initiativesRepresent RTX at recruitment eventsContribute to programme developmentRequirementsEssential5+ years’ experience in recruitment, programme management, or international educationStrong candidate-facing experienceKnowledge of US visa processes (J1)Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skillsDesirableExperience in international internships or mobility programmesFamiliarity with compliance and audit processesPerson SpecificationExperience & Personal QualitiesExperience in client or candidate-facing programme rolesAbility to manage multiple prioritiesStrong ownership and organisationCollaborative and solutions-oriented approachTechnical SkillsProficiency in MS Office, CRM and project toolsExcellent written and verbal communicationEducation & QualificationsBachelor’s degree or aboveExperience in visa/immigration complianceCompliance Statement
