This role is designed as a leadership pipeline position with the opportunity to develop into Sales Manager as part of a planned succession over the next several years.The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and executive leadership to identify new opportunities, support customer programs, and expand our presence in key strategic markets including aerospace, defense, advanced thermal management, and high‑performance manufacturing.What You’ll DoServe as a technical sales partner to customers by understanding their engineering challenges and identifying manufacturing solutionsSupport and collaborate with the current Sales Manager while developing commercial leadership capabilitiesDevelop new business opportunities with OEMs, prime contractors, and Tier‑1 suppliersEngage with customer engineering teams early in the product design process to identify manufacturability improvementsPrepare technical proposals, quotations, and program strategies in collaboration with internal teamsRepresent Precision Resource at trade shows, industry conferences, and customer meetingsCoordinate closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to ensure successful program executionTravel approximately 35–45% to support customer engagement and industry eventsWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with strong manufacturing experience who are looking to transition into technical sales are also encouraged to apply.Experience in aerospace, defense, precision machining, additive manufacturing, or advanced metal manufacturing environmentsStrong ability to communicate technical concepts to both engineering and business audiencesComfortable engaging with engineers, procurement teams, and executive decision makersMotivated to develop into a commercial leader within a manufacturing organizationWillingness to travel across the United States for customer engagement and industry eventsTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. or protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15).Precision Resource is an equal opportunity employer, M/F/D/V.
