To strengthen our global Finance and Controlling IT organization, we are looking for an SAP Consultant Controlling (Production & Logistics). In this role, you will combine SAP CO expertise with a strong understanding of manufacturing and controlling processes. Your key focus will be on Product Costing, Material Ledger an Actual Costing, while supporting our Product Centers and global transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. This position will be based either in Weil am Rhein or Freiburg im Breisgau. What is the role about? Do you know how to translate controlling requirements from a manufacturing environment into effective SAP solutions? Are you comfortable working hands-on with SAP CO, from process design and customizing to integration and support? Would you like to contribute your expertise to a global S/4HANA transformation? In this role, you will work at the intersection of IT, SAP and business processes. You will advise our internal stakeholders, design and improve SAP CO solutions, and ensure that controlling processes integrate effectively with Production and Logistics. Beyond operational support, you will actively contribute to Product Center transformations and S/4HANA rollouts. Over time, you will build in-depth expertise in Manufacturing Controlling, Product Costing and S/4HANA Controlling and develop into a key expert in our production-oriented SAP CO environment. Which tasks will you perform? You will: Design, configure and continuously improve SAP CO solutions, with a strong focus on Product Costing, Material Ledger, Actual Costing and manufacturing-related processes Translate business and controlling requirements into SAP processes, system configurations and sustainable solutions Advise our Product Centers and Finance stakeholders on SAP CO topics and support the harmonization and standardization of global processes Ensure effective integration between SAP CO and related Production and Logistics processes, particularly PP, MM and SD Actively support Product Center transformations and international S/4HANA rollouts, contributing to our global Finance and Controlling template across design, testing, deployment and stabilization Support and further develop related SAP CO processes, including Margin Analysis (CO-PA), production-order settlement, Work in Process (WIP) and variance calculation Analyze incidents and system or process issues, perform root-cause analysis and, where appropriate, debugging, and coordinate sustainable solutions with our internal development team Build long-term organizational knowledge through clear documentation, knowledge sharing and close collaboration across IT, Finance, Production and Logistics What do we expect from you? You: Have a degree in Business Informatics, Finance, Controlling or a comparable qualification Bring solid professional experience in SAP Controlling within a manufacturing or production environment, gained in an in-house role or through relevant consulting Have hands-on experience with SAP CO customizing, configuration and process support Have good knowledge of Product Costing, Material Ledger and Actual Costing, as well as a sound understanding of Manufacturing Controlling Understand the integration of SAP CO with PP, MM and SD and can translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions Ideally bring experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling, including Universal Journal / ACDOCA; experience with S/4HANA transformation or rollout projects is an advantage Combine a strong understanding of business processes with the ability to understand how they are represented and configured in SAP Approach problems analytically and pragmatically, take ownership and collaborate confidently with both business and IT stakeholders Communicate effectively in German and English in an international environment What can you expect from us?
