Global Business Services (GBS) is an in-house service provider specializing in HR, Finance and Technology for Wilhelmsen - providing high quality, scalable, reliable solutions that drive efficiency, enhance customer experience and cost-efficient business support services Job title Senior Accounts Executive Who We Are Looking For We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Executive with strong expertise in financial operations, treasury management, month-end closing, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing accounting activities independently while partnering effectively with internal and external stakeholders. What You Will Work On Lead day-to-day accounting and treasury operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions. Manage accounts payable, fund transfers, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and general ledger activities. Oversee month-end and year-end closing, including accruals, provisions, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting. Prepare and review financial reconciliations, management reports, and profit & loss performance. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal controls. Support statutory audits and liaise with auditors, banks, vendors, and regulatory authorities. Drive process improvements and resolve financial discrepancies to enhance operational efficiency. Provide guidance and support on finance-related matters across the business. Qualifications You Have For This Role Mandatory Requirements Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent qualification. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance operations, or a related field. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger, treasury operations, and statutory compliance. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word. Strong analytical skills with a methodical and accurate approach to work. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively under pressure. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and coordination skills. Good command of written and spoken English. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
