Job Title: Senior Associate, Contracts Job Code: 45516 Job Location: Salt Lake City, UT Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days- totaling 80 hours worked- and have every other Friday off Job Description: These positions are responsible for conducting proposal preparation, pre-contract data collection, and administering, extending, negotiating and terminating standard and nonstandard government contracts. Essential Functions: Reviews contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, and conformance to master agreements. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Initiates documentation to authorize work in accordance with contractual specifications. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information. Responds to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions. Preparing, negotiating, and administering a large volume of contracts of various types for a variety of customers. Ensuring contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, customer specifications, FAR, DFAR and ITAR. Reviewing RFPs; supporting the preparation of proposals including engineering changes; performing associated negotiation and defining activities. Performing risk assessment of proposal/contract terms and conditions; formulating and executing strategies to minimize potential risks to the business. Working with customers, management, and program teams to resolve issues, secure approvals, and ensure successful contract execution. Serving as point of contact for the customer during all phases of a program. Generating and maintaining contract documentation. Ability to obtain a Department of Defense TS-SCI security clearance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills: Subject matter expertise in Government, Commercial, and International contracting Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and the FAR, DFARS and other government procurement regulations Finance and Estimating/Pricing acumen a plus #LI-NG1
