Senior Data Scientist / AI & Machine Learning EngineerPosition: Senior Data Scientist / AI & Machine Learning EngineerLocation: Conshohocken, PA – Flexible hybrid (onsite approximately once per month, with additional visits potentially needed during onboarding)Duration: 6–9 month contract with potential extensions into 2027 Start: ASAP PositionOverview: The / AI Engineer to help develop and deploy advanced machine learning and AI solutions. The team is focused on Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), recommendation engines, and personalization to improve the digital customer experience.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions into production.- Build AI agents, Agentic AI workflows, and LLM-powered applications.- Develop and enhance recommendation engines, personalization models, and search algorithms.- Work with engineering teams on data pipelines, integrations, and MLOps.- Maintain and optimize existing ML models, algorithms, and AI applications. RequiredQualifications:- 5+ years of hands-on Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI Engineering experience.- Strong Python and SQL skills.- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.- Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining ML models in production.- Experience developing LLM applications, Generative AI, or Agentic AI solutions.- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP or AWS) and MLOps.- Advanced degree in a related technical field preferred.Nice to Have:- Experience developing AI agents and multistep agent workflows.- Recommendation engines, personalization, or e-commerce experience.- Knowledge Graphs, Neo4j, or Databricks. The biggest priority for the team is finding someone who has personally built and deployed AI/ML solutions, particularly AI agents, rather than someone whose experience is primarily reporting or analytics.
