POSITION OVERVIEW: This position will play a key role in executing and planning the activation of Nespresso's events across initiatives. This position will focus on implementing the brand's vision, ensuring the successful production of impactful brand experiences that align with our Nespresso brand and business goals. This team member will work collaboratively internally, employing a results-oriented approach to drive awareness, foster the development of a Nespresso community and brand partnerships, and support customer acquisition efforts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead event coordination, planning and production for consumer-facing Nespresso initiatives: owned events (PR/Experiential) and sponsorships. Lead relationships with external agencies, brand partners and manage partnership communications, day-to-day event planning and project management including agency briefing, event logistics, staff and training plans, messaging, concepting, design and build-out, branded collateral and invitations, venue location and site visits, build-out/breakdown, catering needs, etc. Manage product orders (coffee, machines, milk, sugar, etc.) in alignment with TQM requirements, ensuring timely delivery and correct storage to maintain product quality and availability during the event. Be a point of contact for key partner/sponsor organizations to ensure excellence in execution, support contract negotiations, and define ways of working to reflect Nespresso's best interests and our brand positioning as well as optimize our investment. Lead and facilitate meetings with internal cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication, event mapping, collaboration, and alignment. Provide visibility of the event calendar to internal stakeholders and teams, ensuring that all relevant parties are aware of upcoming events, timelines, and key milestones. Set clear goals and key performance indicators for each event, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives and providing a measurable framework for success evaluation. Gather learnings from each event to identify areas of improvement and optimize future event execution. This includes conducting post-event evaluations, analyzing attendee feedback, and collaborating with the team to identify successes, challenges, and opportunities for enhancement. Serve as an internal Event Marketing expert and consultant for brand and product activation. Responsible of providing guidance, insights, and recommendations. Strategize and collaborate with direct team on digital lead generation tactics to support partnership framework as well as on-site activations and facilitate with vendors, partners, etc. to meet associated KPIs. Develop visually compelling and on-brand materials for event activations. Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to create high-quality and impactful assets that enhance the overall event experience. Establish and document best practices for event activation, encompassing all aspects of the event experience, including product setup, recipe selection, attendee engagement strategies, and overall logistics management. Regularly review and update these best practices based on learnings from each event, attendee feedback, and industry trends to continuously enhance event activations and optimize future event executions. Responsible for developing processes to manage inventory of activation materials and product, ensuring inventory is current and accurate. Conduct regular audits of external vendors responsible for managing inventory. Develop and maintain a network of event activation vendors and suppliers, ensuring access to the latest technologies, equipment, and services to enhance event experiences. Develop a strong relationship with staffing agencies, providing comprehensive training and guidance on brand standards and specific Nespresso requirements. Develop training materials and conduct workshops to ensure vendors have a clear understanding of the brand and products. Monitor and report on industry trends and competitor activities related to event marketing and activations. Manage B2C Event & Sponsorship budgets including DF, free goods, T&E, and P-card budgets and ensure thoughtful budget stewardship throughout the team. Responsible for providing input for Finance Pre and Post Evaluations per activation. Manage implementation, follow-through and accurate maintenance of procedures, policies and guidelines as they relate to Finance, TQM, Procurement, etc. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred. At least 5 years of Marketing Experience is strongly preferred, ideally in CPG or DTC brands. Experience in event coordination, planning, and/or production for consumer-facing brand activations. Flexible schedule; ability to travel, work events nights and weekends. SKILLS: Ability to strategize and identify opportunities to maximize brand positioning. Strong stakeholder management skills. Ability to multi-task; change priorities at a moment’s notice. Proven track record of sales and lead generations through event/brand marketing. Excellent listening and communication skills, both written and verbal. Luxury brand experience a plus. Strong follow up skills. Salary: $95,000.00 to $117,000.00 per year Bonus Eligibility: Yes The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
