Role: Senior Finance Manager Location: Horwich, BL6 6JW Contract: Full-Time Hours / Permanent Salary: Up to £70,000 Company: EG Group About the Role: Our Finance Team is expanding, and we have a new opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager. In this role, you will be an essential asset to our business, reporting to the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning & analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and identifying opportunities to improve procedures & controls. We are looking for an adaptable and efficient individual with a strong finance background. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to use their experience & initiative to implement processes, collaborate with key stakeholders, and support the development and progression of the team. What we’re looking for: ACA, ACCA,CIMA qualified, or equivalent, with at least three years’ post-qualification experience A well-rounded finance background, with experience across financial reporting, month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls. Confident analysing financial performance and translating complex data into clear insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to work with financial data accurately and efficiently. Experience identifying opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls and drive efficiencies, including through systems improvements or automation. The ability to build effective relationships across finance and the wider business, communicating financial information clearly to different audiences. A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to take ownership, challenge existing processes and deliver improvements. The ability to manage competing priorities and maintain high standards of accuracy in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Who is Cumberland Farms?
