Senior Logistics Engineer

JOB SUMMARY Senior Logistics Engineer is responsible for collecting, analysing, and translating warehouse operational data into meaningful insights to improve productivity, inventory accuracy, service levels, cost efficiency, and overall operational performance. The role will work closely with Operations, Inventory Control, Customer Service, IT and Performance Management to establish reliable data, develop performance dashboards, identify operational gaps, and drive data-based improvement initiatives. B. RESPONSIBILITIES Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyse warehouse operational data from WMS, Power BI, Excel, and other relevant systems. Analyse key warehouse KPIs including: productivity, inventory accuracy, inbound & outbound performance, space utilization, labor utilization Identify trends, abnormalities, and performance gaps and highlight them to the Operations team. Create dashboards for management visibility, including: operation performance, manpower utilization, operating expenses performance, warehouse capacity and utilization Work with Operations and Inventory teams to identify root causes of operational issues through data analysis Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing data-driven analysis and measurement of improvement results. Support warehouse simulation and scenario analysis for new business, volume changes, and operational restructuring Prepare operational analysis and presentation materials for customer meetings and management reviews. Provide ad-hoc analysis to support customer requests, commercial costing, contract renewals, and operational decisions. C. AUTHORITIES N/A D. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Diploma/Degree Holder supply chain management, logistics or business administration. Minimum five (5) years of experience in logistics or supply chain management in supervision or management of logistics or related fields. Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. Good trouble shooting skills to establish root causes and provide effective solutions. A self-starter demonstrates a track record of high-performance work without immediate management supervision. Have proven experience in running effective teams and ability to work with core team members and cross-functional teams in a matrix managed environment.
