Senior Procurement Specialist for Spares Parts

All about the role: The Senior Procurement Specialist will be responsible for strategic sourcing of aftermarket unique components and work in close collaborations with global purchasing organization and supplier base that delivers material to both factories and spare parts business. This role focuses on the spares supply for the region, Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa with a focus on availability, cost & quality as some of the main KPI’s. What you'll do: Work with Regional Spares Planning Managers and Purchasing organization, to ensure prices and alignment on commercial terms are in place to enable spare parts, where and when needed. Develop and maintain great relationships with stakeholders, know business inside out and understand suppliers to negotiate with confidence. Also enthuse partners and suppliers with a passion for the company's purpose so that they too share our focus on delivering for our customers. In detail, you will: Operational management of Current Suppliers: Ensure all current suppliers are meeting contractual performance requirements Strategic procurement activities: involving contract monitoring, commercial terms for spare parts development and annual price list reviews, alignment with Direct Material Procurement on the IDCO strategy Manage supplier escalations from the regional planning organization Phase in process: ensure the pricing for spares are available at an early stage of the phase in process Introduction of New Suppliers: Introduce new suppliers to Electrolux spare distribution centers which deliver higher levels of supplier performance in the areas of cost, quality and reliability Strategic sourcing of aftermarket unique spare parts and consolidation of assortment where possible Phase out process: Ensure continuation of supply and a reasonable level between cost and minimum order quantity, manage the No Longer Available items Information and Systems Management: Ensure the integrity of supplier data Drive the development of our Spares appendix in the commercial contracts Qualifications: University Degree in Engineering or Business field Minimum 5 years or relevant work experience within Procurement areas with procuring experience in spare parts or indirect materials Experience gained in a larger matrix, international FMCG, automotive or similarly complex business desirable Experience working in a regional or global organization Strong leadership skills including leading cross-functional projects Analytical skills and drive actions based on facts in a structured way Takes initiative to solve problems and drive until completion Strong communication and negotiation skills, you are expected to get your message across to different levels of the organization both internally and externally Good computer application skills. (i.e. Word, Excel, power point, etc.) Ability to represent the organization with integrity and professionalism Fluent in English both written & spoken Where you'll be: You will be based in our Bangkok Office and report to a Manager.
