Senior Product Designer

About docfliq We are medical knowledge company. We are building the AI product layer that makes it easier to create medical knowledge, and easier for the right people to find it and use it. Senior doctors and medical associations on one side. The broader community of healthcare professionals on the other. The platform is live and in use today. The AI surfaces are what we are building next, and what I want a senior designer to help shape. I am bringing on one senior product designer for about 12 weeks to do that work with me. It is not a redesign. It is a focused craft pass on the surfaces that matter. The work Onboarding from sign-up to first feed in under 90 seconds, with the verification cues an HCP-only platform needs. Profile and edit-profile, the things that show up in every screenshot of every conversation. First-session experience that does not drop a new user into an empty room. Creator studio entry. And a brand one-pager that locks typography, mark, capitalization and voice, so every downstream deck and surface inherits the same standard. You will work directly with me, the engineering lead, and our content lead. You will ship to live product, not into a Figma file that waits in a queue. What good looks like at the end ? A web product polished, coherent, and properly componentised, so we can build the mobile app or any next platform on top of it without redesigning from scratch. Who I want to talk to? Senior B2C product designer. Seven plus years, most of it in consumer products people open every day. Worked at a brand known for design craft (think CRED, Linear, Razorpay, Plum, Headspace, Notion, Slice, Cult.fit, Zepto, Jupiter, Groww, or similar). Onboarding, identity, trust UX are areas you have shipped recently and have opinions about. Also welcome: the IIT path with a clear flair for design. If you came through engineering, then through IDC IIT Bombay or NID for a Master's, and have spent the last several years inside consumer-product teams, please get in touch. Process plus craft beats either alone. You think like a builder. You can talk to engineers in their language, you know what is cheap to build and what is not, and you can read a Figma file the way a frontend engineer would. Side projects in code are a plus. You are already using AI agents in your design workflow. If you understand how agentic products are built, even better. We are putting AI into the product, and I want a designer who has thought about what that means for users, not someone I have to convince it matters. Healthcare or healthtech understanding is strongly preferred but not required. What matters is that you can hold your own with a clinician inside the first week. You are comfortable inside a small senior team. You are comfortable saying something is not ready, and then making it ready. Logistics 12 weeks. Three to four days a week. Mumbai-hybrid preferred (one or two days in person for the first month, then flexible). Fully remote works if the first week is in person.
