We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build the foundation that powers analytics, reporting, and AI-driven experiences across our platform. This role bridges the gap between traditional data engineering and software engineering, focusing on scalable data infrastructure and high-quality software development. You'll work closely with data scientists and engineering teams to design, build, maintain, and evolve data platforms and services that enable reliable, high-performance data products. What You'll Do Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build scalable data infrastructure that powers analytics, reporting, and AI applications. Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using technologies such as Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow. Build and maintain reliable, scalable APIs and backend services in cloud environments, primarily AWS. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. Design and implement highly scalable, resilient distributed systems. Proactively identify opportunities for platform improvements and contribute ideas for new features and architectural enhancements. Collaborate effectively with engineering, data, and other business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. Continuously learn and adopt new technologies while building sustainable, long-term solutions. About You 5+ years of professional software engineering and/or data engineering experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience). Strong expertise in SQL and experience working with complex data models and large-scale datasets. Proven experience designing and building ETL/ELT pipelines and distributed data systems. Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C++, C#, Go, Kotlin, Ruby, or similar object-oriented languages. Deep understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, and system design. Experience designing scalable, reliable cloud-native applications and working with AWS or similar cloud platforms. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, high-growth environment. Excellent communication skills with professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Nice to Have Experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow. Experience building APIs and data services. Exposure to modern data platforms, AI/ML infrastructure (we use BentoML), experience in MLOps or analytics engineering.
