Where You Will Work Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support our operations in finance, human resources, health and safety, information technology, planning and more. Our hybrid work program allows employees to work virtually up to 3 days a week and come together for in-person work and collaboration at our Bagdad operations in Arizona. Located 100 miles northwest of Phoenix, Bagdad is home to the world's first commercial - scale concentrate leach processing facility, as well as one of the longest continuously operating solvent extraction/electrowinning plants in the world. What You Will Do Review applications to ensure that the candidate’s background, experience and/or education align with the minimum qualifications of the role. Conduct additional screening as applicable, initiate background checks, prepare pay models, generate and extend offers as an agent of the company. Monitor and track successful completion of pre-hire requirements to include Drug Tests and Pre-Employment Medical Exams. Manage real time requisition and candidate process flow within Applicant Tracking System. Create a positive hiring experience by providing updates to candidates and hiring managers through various lines of communication. Supervise and oversee TA Coordinator job duties including completion of performance reviews, assigning tasks and overall responsibilities. Assist with department training efforts by creating and developing training materials. Mentor and coach contractors and provide functional guidance, advice and/or training to peers and contractors. Develop and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and Site HR. Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to clearly address key responsibilities of the position requirements, environmental conditions, target audience (internal and/or external). Provide training and guidance on the ATS tool as needed. Responsible for generating and creating routine and ad hoc reports and/or PowerPoint presentations. Present data to Site HR, Talent Acquisition leadership and/or at career events. Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with recruitment agencies and representatives. Communicate requirements and support needs on a consistent basis to assist with qualifying appropriate candidate pool. Oversee and lead Company, industry and diversity Talent Acquisition events and job fairs with the goal of networking and building relationships with potential candidate communities. Communicate detailed information to candidates regarding the company, salary and benefits. Provide additional support with screening, interviewing and presenting at recruitment events. Oversee and lead Talent Acquisition projects and team training to meet department and Company initiatives, i.e. military, trade schools, social media and contractor training. Manage the offer, negotiation and closing of candidates to include partnering with the Compensation department to review salary/compensation issues, identify hiring incentives and/or to negotiate salaries. Consult with hiring managers, site HR and other members of the Talent Acquisition team to foster a pipeline strategy that will best identify candidates to meet job requirements and preferred qualifications. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Bring To Freeport High School diploma or GED and eight (8) years Talent Acquisition/HR-related experience, OR Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years Talent Acquisition /HR-related experience. Understanding of EEO and Affirmative Action policies. Understanding of employment law as it relates to hiring practices. Knowledge of common recruiting processes, procedures and sourcing techniques. Preferred Qualifications Previous lead or supervisory experience Advanced level experience working with Excel. Experience generating recruiting reports and metrics. Broad knowledge of Freeport-McMoRan What We Offer You The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $75,000 - $104,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. What We Require In-person work to be performed from our Bagdad, Arizona operations up to 3 days per week. Domestic travel up to 10% annually. Candidates may be required to pass a medical exam.
