SEO Performance Manager - Site Owner

About the role Paradise Media is a privately owned media company with a global portfolio of sports and iGaming brands. Our sites compete in tough, regulated search markets, and SEO is our main traffic channel. We're hiring an experienced SEO in Malta to own a group of those sites. In this role you’ll report to the Head of SEO and join a team of over a dozen SEOs in Malta. You'll take your ideas from first investigation through to implementation and results, with data, developer and content support behind you. There are no clients and no accounts, so decisions stay close to the work. The team works from a large office in Balluta Bay right on the water, with panoramic sea views, a full-size private gym, personal trainers, and massage chairs. The office also has a smoothie and juice bar, with fruit and vegetables out every day. Roles & Responsibilities: Own SEO performance across assigned sites, from strategy through execution and iteration. Orchestrate AI-driven SEO workflows using our internal tooling to scale output and insight. Lead keyword strategy, site architecture, internal linking, and on-page optimisation at scale. Investigate technical problems: crawling, indexing, templates, architecture, internal linking. Improve what already exists, and judge where new pages, sections or launches are worth the effort. Turn ideas into tests, pull in the developers and content specialists you need, and stay with the work until it is live and measured. Then decide whether to expand it, adjust it or stop. Mentor junior SEO team members, review output, and raise overall execution quality. Requirements: At least one year of hands-on SEO, ideally in iGaming, affiliate or another competitive search market. A working understanding of on-page SEO, content planning, keyword research, search intent, and CVR and CTR optimization. Experience with Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and SEO optimization tools. Experience with Claude code and vibe coding - or strong willingness to learn. Based in Malta or willing to relocate, and able to work from the Saint Julian's office on a hybrid schedule. Useful, but not essential Experience with WordPress and large websites. Experience improving conversion as well as rankings and traffic.
