We are currently seeking to hire a PHONE SERVICE TECHNICIAN at our location in Michigan City, Indiana. Job Summary As a member of the Service team, the Phone Service Technician will provide customer technical phone support for the Vanair product line. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Provide technical product phone support for our customers Maintain accurate records of service cases and troubleshooting steps taken by entering them into the computer Work with the Warranty Administrator when warranty parts are needed to ensure timely repairs are held to a schedule Willing to be cross-trained for repairing and reconditioning Vanair products in-house Job Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma required; Trade School within mechanical, electrical or automotive preferred. 1+ year of personal or professional mechanical troubleshooting experience preferred. Electrical aptitude (12V and 120V) for machinery and mechanical devices, preferred. Previous phone support experience preferred. Experience using SalesForce or similar CRM, preferred. Self-starter, organized and punctual. MS Office experience . Excellent communication skills. Must be able to work in a high-stress environment, operate as a team, and interface with other departments. Must be able to work in a safe manner with no supervision.
