Job Title: Specialist, Cyber Infrastructure Systems Engineer Job Code: Recruiter will populate Job Location: Patrick SFB, FL and L3Harris, Wickham Campus, Melbourne, FL Job Schedule: 9/80 Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cyber Infrastructure Systems Engineer (Systems Administrator) to join our Melbourne, Florida team. The role requires a highly skilled technical professional with a TS/SCI clearance and a strong foundation in cybersecurity, cloud engineering, and systems administration. The individual serves as a key contributor in the design, deployment, and sustainment of complex mission systems running in AWS GovCloud and C2S environments. With hands-on experience configuring, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Red Hat and CentOS Linux systems, this engineer brings both operational expertise and a developer’s mindset to automation, optimization, and problem-solving. Essential Functions: Administer, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Red Hat/CentOS Linux systems in secure, mission-focused environments. Deploy and manage AWS GovCloud/C2S cloud infrastructure with automation tools and virtualization technologies. Operate as an AWS Cloud Systems Administrator with experience supporting and maintaining JBoss-based services. Implement and sustain system hardening measures using applicable DoD security standards, STIGs, and organizational cybersecurity policies. Perform vulnerability identification and remediation activities to support compliance with RMF controls, POA&M tracking, and audit readiness efforts. Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health to ensure reliability and continuity of mission systems. Troubleshoot and resolve software, operating system, and access-related issues while adhering to established security procedures. Maintain accurate system configurations, change records, and technical documentation to support configuration management and compliance inspections. Coordinate with cybersecurity, network, and program teams to support accreditation activities, incident response, and secure system operations in classified or controlled environments. Local travel from L3Harris to Patrick SFB (AFTAC) as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Top Secret/SCI Clearance DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 Required Professional Certifications: CCNA- Security, Security+ CE, or higher certification Preferred Additional Skills: Experience with PKI and/or OAuth authentication models. Experience Integrating, securing, and administering cross-domain systems. Experience Integrating, securing, and administering microservices, containers (i.e., docker) #LI-NB1
