Sr. Business Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Product team in smartPulse Turkey. In this role, you will bridge business needs and technical solutions by working closely with customers and cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, improve business processes, and support the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will play a key role in transforming business challenges into actionable product requirements, supporting product development through data-driven analysis, and contributing to the continuous evolution of our software solutions within the energy technology sector. What you will do to make a difference Analyze business requirements, operational processes, system behavior, and data flows to identify product and process improvement opportunities. Gather and evaluate customer needs and translate them into clear functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical analysis documents. Work closely with Product, Development, QA, and other stakeholders throughout analysis, development, testing, and release processes. Analyze data using SQL and available monitoring tools to investigate issues, validate system behavior, and support business decisions. Analyze APIs, integrations, and system-to-system data flows using tools such as Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI documentation. Investigate production issues by reviewing application behavior, logs, database records, API responses, and integration flows. Identify functional gaps, edge cases, dependencies, and potential risks during requirement and solution analysis. Track customer usage, system performance, and operational feedback to identify current and future product needs. Transform customer feedback, operational findings, and market insights into actionable product development requirements. Support testing and validation activities to ensure that delivered solutions meet defined business and functional requirements. What you need to succeed Bachelor's degree from related engineering departments of universities At least 6 years or more experience in Software Analysis Experienced in requirements gathering, writing use case diagrams Experienced in modeling and analysis of business processes Good knowledge of SQL, MongoDB, general knowledge of any software language (Javascript, C# and Python preferably) Knowledge of Project Management Principles (Agile / Scrum etc.) Willing to learn new and different products and technologies, open to development and able to adapt easily to different products and technologies High written and verbal communication skills and experience in documentation Effective communication skills and good command on English What we offer Meaningful work with a clear connection to the energy transition — you will see how your contribution makes a difference.
