Summer Intern - LEU+ Mechanical Engineering

About the role: As a Mechanical Engineering intern, you will be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the development of technical products and systems. You will report to the LEU+ Process Engineering Manager and be located at our Hopkins, SC facility. This is a paid full-time position for the summer, May - August 2027. Key Responsibilities: Support creation of hardware design documentation such as equipment drawings and process and instrumentation diagrams Support hands-on design of manufacturing equipment Support development of container hardware design specifications Support creation of documentation for procurement and manufacturing Support resolution of technical issues including first-of-a-kind implementation Support development of test procedures and execution of functional tests Qualifications: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering Completed Sophomore year of college We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
