The Supervisor, Manufacturing is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of all manufacturing personnel within their department. This position ensures build plans are achieved with the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality, while also ensuring compliance to all regulatory and quality regulations. This position reports to the Production Manager Manager and is part of the Production Department located in Pasir Gudang, Johor and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Supervise daily manufacturing activities to meet production schedules, efficiency, yield and company targets. Ensure proper line balancing, manpower allocation, material control, documentation, GMP and adherence to quality procedures. Supervise, train and manage associates and leads, including performance monitoring, personnel rotation, disciplinary actions and ensuring compliance with company policies, Malaysian labour law and safety requirements. Work closely with Quality, Process and Industrial Engineering teams to resolve production issues, investigate non-conformances, improve line efficiency, eliminate bottlenecks and ensure a safe, clean and compliant manufacturing environment. The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent in experience. Ability to communicate written and oral and establish professional and effective interaction with co-workers, subordinates, Engineering and Quality Assurance. Supervising experience Physical/Environment Requirements: Indoor role requiring standing/walking. Must follow safety procedures, use appropriate PPE, and operate only approved low-risk tools. Bonus / Incentive Pay Up to 10 % of annual base salary This job is also eligible for bonus pay. This is the target earnings as % of base annual salary, subject to objective eligibility criteria and performance conditions as set out in the applicable scheme terms and conditions. This job is also eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits and specifically phone allowance, medical card, dental allowance and optical allowance.
