Purpose The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, risk, and supply continuity across direct and indirect spend categories. The role leads sourcing teams, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and category management initiatives to support operational and business objectives. Responsibilities Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies using the Kraljic Matrix, TCO, market intelligence, and risk assessment tools. Lead the end-to-end Strategic Sourcing Process (spend analysis, strategy development, RFx, negotiation, award, and supplier management). Conduct complex commercial negotiations and manage key supplier relationships. Drive cost savings, value creation, working capital improvements, and supply risk mitigation initiatives. Establish supplier performance management programs, KPIs, and scorecards. Partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Projects, Finance, Legal, and HSE teams. Lead and develop sourcing professionals while promoting procurement best practices and continuous improvement. Support CAPEX projects, maintenance contracts, and critical operational sourcing requirements. Education Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field. MBA or postgraduate degree preferred. Procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience. Leadership experience managing sourcing or procurement teams. Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Energy, Mining, or heavy industrial environments. Experience MRO, Chemicals, Logistics, Industrial Services, EPC, Rotating Equipment, Electrical & Instrumentation, and CAPEX projects.
