About Deloitte’s M&A Tax Team Join a dynamic, high-performing team of tax advisors, accountants, and lawyers with broad experience from top professional practices and in-house roles, both in Singapore and globally. Our M&A Tax team advises clients throughout the transaction lifecycle, including due diligence, structuring, modeling, and post-close considerations. Your Impact / Work you’ll do Advise corporate and private equity clients on tax considerations related to mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, financing structures, and disposition alternatives. Lead or support tax due diligence projects, analysing transaction documents and identifying tax risks, exposures, and planning opportunities. Develop and review structuring recommendations for buy-side, sell-side, and post-transaction matters. Manage end-to-end engagement execution, including project planning, deliverables, and coordination with client and Deloitte stakeholders. Undertake research on local and international tax issues, advise on Singapore corporate and stamp duty matters, cross-border restructurings, tax treaties, and permanent establishment matters. Mentor, train, and develop junior team members, fostering an inclusive and high-performing team culture. Build and maintain trusted client relationships, contributing to business development and continuous improvement of our service offerings. What We’re Looking For / Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, SCTP, or similar professional qualification preferred. Minimum 5 years of relevant tax experience (corporate tax, M&A tax, transaction tax, or income tax), ideally with an international accounting firm, law firm, or multinational company tax department. Strong technical tax knowledge and experience in Singapore tax; exposure to M&A transactions and due diligence is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage client relationships, deliver high-quality work, and mentor team members. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
