Team Leader KYC CDD

Assist in managing a sustainable and a scalable KYC CDD Unit by monitoring the team activities viz a viz assigned roles and responsibilities. To assist in execution of activity within country’s KYC CDD Unit and maintain oversight on KYC CDD processes and activities. Support in provision of training, operational expertise and guidance to client acquiring/onboarding teams in relation to understanding KYC CDD processes in coordination with Compliance. Drive team to ensures operational efficiencies and customer data integrity in accordance with internal policies and procedures. To ensure independent Quality Assurance of the test performed on KYC CDD team’s BAU activities and escalate gaps with remedial action plans to reporting line. Ensure appropriate follow up of issues and resolution in a timely manner while liaising with front & back office stakeholders. To assist in driving process for Periodic Reviews by closely knitting with all stakeholders. Assist in establishing Unit’s SOPs, system & reporting enhancements as well as need based preparation of Business Requirement Doc- BRD, running UATs etc. KYC CDD Awareness & Trainings Work with L&D to provide feedback on KYC CDD training modules from an operational perspective to strengthen the Compliance culture within the Bank. Leadership & Teamwork Lead and develop an effective team through communication, performance management, & development plans. Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects HBL’s values Minimum qualifications: Master’s Degree Minimum experience: 5-7 years of experience in Banking Operations / Compliance / Operational Risk Management Other Skills & Competence: Sound understanding of KYC/ CDD regulations and affiliated processes / policies.
