Technical Product Owner – AV & Connectivity

About Kramer Kramer is a global audio-visual technology company providing connectivity, collaboration and control solutions for education, enterprise, government and other markets. About the role We are looking for a hands-on, technically minded professional to be Kramer's main point of contact for AV cables, adapters and desktop connectivity products, including HDMI, USB-C, DisplayPort and TBUS solutions. The role combines product knowledge, practical technical work and coordination with global suppliers, customers and internal teams, particularly in Asia. It is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding how products work, solving problems and driving tasks through to completion. Key responsibilities Manage day-to-day product activities, updates and new product introductions within the AV & Connectivity category. Work with international suppliers on specifications, samples, pricing, quality issues and product changes. Review and test products, investigate technical issues and coordinate solutions. Support global sales teams and customers with product information, specifications and technical questions. Coordinate with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Planning and Marketing. Maintain product documentation, datasheets, catalogues and other product information. Requirements Technical mindset, hands-on approach and strong willingness to learn. Relevant experience in AV, electronics, cables, connectivity or other technical products. Basic understanding of technologies such as HDMI, USB-C and DisplayPort, or the ability to learn quickly. Good English, written and spoken, and confidence communicating with international suppliers, particularly in Asia. Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and collaborate across teams. Preferred Experience working with international suppliers, especially in Asia. Familiarity with product specifications, quality testing or manufacturing processes. Technical education or practical experience in electronics, engineering or a related field.
