Position Details Position Status: Regular Full Time Location: Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre, Physiotherapy Complex LTC BW Hours: 77.50  FTE: 1.00 Shift: Days Shift Times: 0700-1515 Union: Non Union GSS Rate of Pay: 25.46 - 30.13 PCN: 263ETAst03   Date Competition Closes: October 28, 2026   Position Summary: Responsible for working under the direction of the team Physical and/or Occupational Therapists to provide therapeutic programming to clients focused on helping them to achieve their discharge goals. This position works as part of the therapy team to contribute to the client's quality of life by providing appropriate interventions to maximize safe, functional independence. Responsible for other related duties as required.   Program Summary: Chronic Medical Care – for adults living with a complex disease or life-threatening illness. The prime populations are adults on hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis, as well as people who need specialized respiratory support.   Qualifications & Experience: - Graduation from an Accredited Therapy Assistant program. - Relevant equivalent training or experience may be considered - Previous experience in a therapeutic setting is essential. - Experience with computers preferred.
