Key responsibilities include: Investigating transaction monitoring alerts and customer activities using a risk-based approach. Analyzing customer profiles, transaction behavior, and counterparties to determine whether activity is consistent with expected patterns. Producing clear, accurate, and well-documented investigation records in line with ING standards. Managing workloads effectively while maintaining a strong focus on quality and compliance. Staying informed on financial crime typologies, emerging risks, and regulatory requirements. Contributing to knowledge sharing, continuous improvement initiatives, and team learning activities. About the Team You will join a dedicated KYC and Financial Crime team focused on protecting ING and its customers from money laundering, terrorist financing, and tax evasion risks. The team fosters a collaborative environment where colleagues share expertise, challenge assumptions, and continuously improve investigation practices. You'll work closely with Team Leads, Transaction Monitoring specialists, and Compliance partners while building deep expertise in financial crime risk management. Required Skills We're looking for professionals who bring a combination of analytical capability, risk awareness, and investigative thinking. Essential skills and experience: Experience in Transaction Monitoring, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), KYC, Financial Crime Compliance, Fraud Risk, or related fields.
