Overview Cardiovascular Technologist – OR CVOR Tech required for a travel assignment in a short-term acute care setting. Location: Geneva, NY, United States. Start date: 08/17/2026. This position involves OR scrub responsibilities, call rotations, and collaboration with the medical/nursing teams to support safe patient care. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $1,358–$1,457 per week - Contract duration: 22–26 weeks with flexible end date - Shift: 4x9 hour days (Flex); call rotations may apply - Start date: 08/17/2026 - Setting: Short-term acute care travel assignment in the OR Responsibilities - Serve as the scrub technician in surgical procedures, preparing instrument sets and supplies based on procedure needs and patient history, while maintaining a sterile field per AORN standards. - Assist the surgical team by selecting and arranging equipment and supplies, assisting with patient draping, and supporting sterile technique throughout procedures. - Accurately draw up medications with proper labeling and participate in counts of all items on the sterile field as required. - Operate and handle specialized OR equipment as directed, ensuring patient safety and compliance with infection control practices. - Provide mentorship to newer staff and contribute to a safe, clean, and compliant surgical environment; address breaches in sterile technique promptly and appropriately.
