Overview Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care (LTC) travel assignment in Utica, NY. Start date August 18, 2026 for a 13-week contract. Evening shift 2:30 PM–10:30 PM (8 hours). Weekly pay ranges from $1,421 to $1,496 per week. 37.5 guaranteed hours per week. Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility with a 40-bed LTC unit. Local rate available for candidates within 75 miles of the assignment location. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $1,421–$1,496 per week - Guaranteed hours: 37.5 hours per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 2:30 PM–10:30 PM (evening) - Start date: August 18, 2026 - Setting: 40-bed LTC unit in a skilled nursing facility - Local rate: Accepting locals within 75 miles - Floating: Within the same building as needed Responsibilities - Provide direct nursing care to residents on a 40-bed LTC unit, including residents with multiple conditions such as MS, orthopedic issues, dementia, and memory care needs. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; document care in PointClickCare EMR; monitor responses and update care plans. - Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, and personal care; support safety and fall prevention. - Monitor vital signs, detect clinical changes, and escalate to the charge nurse or physician per policy. - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and families to implement and revise individualized care plans; ensure accurate charting and regulatory compliance. - Float within the building as needed; adhere to unit policies; maintain infection control standards and resident safety. Requirements - Education: LPN diploma; active NY LPN license (verified via NURSYS). - Certifications: Current BLS. - Experience: 1+ year LTC experience required; documentation of travel experience on resume. - Skills: EMR experience with PointClickCare. - Other requirements: RTO (time off) must be included at submission; valid driver’s license with address matching demographics; ability to work in a LTC setting and float within the building.
