Overview Licensed Practical Nurse (Med Surg) – travel assignment in New London, NH. Start date 08/17/2026 for 13 weeks, with a 3x12 night shift schedule (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,354 to $1,432 per week. There are no guaranteed hours for this assignment. The LPN will provide safe, high-quality care on a Medical/Surgical unit under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and will work within EPIC-based workflows. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $1,354-$1,432 per week - Guaranteed hours: 0 - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 3x12 Night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) - Start date: 08/17/2026 - Work setting: hospital Medical/Surgical unit - Travel assignment under temporary staffing requirements Responsibilities - Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to general care patients under RN supervision; document care plans and interventions in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and communicate changes to the care team. - Conduct focused nursing assessments, monitor vital signs, pain, skin and wound status, fluid balance, and functional status; document findings and escalate as appropriate. - Administer oral, topical, inhaled medications; administer intravenous medications upon NH Board of Nursing training and RN delegation; ensure accurate medication administration and labeling. - Assist patients with activities of daily living, nutrition, and hydration according to orders and goals of care; apply dressings and assistive devices as indicated. - Review patient plans of care and active orders before care delivery; participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient education for patients and families. - Maintain a safe environment of care by following policies on infection control, medication safety, patient identification, and documentation; participate in required meetings and trainings.
