The role focuses on operating computed tomography equipment to produce cross-sectional images used for diagnosis, along with supporting imaging modalities as needed. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,209–$2,328 - Guaranteed hours: 36 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: Rotating 12-hour day shifts (3x per week) - Start date: 07/27/2026 - Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital - Specialty focus: CT imaging within radiology Responsibilities - Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs and soft tissue for radiologist interpretation. - Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, as needed per exam. - Create sagittal and coronal reformatted images to assist radiologists in diagnosis. - Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to correctly transfer images to the appropriate destination. - Maintain accurate patient records, files and billing information while ensuring HIPAA compliance and patient privacy. - Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment and manage supply inventory as directed.
