Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,306–$2,423 per week - Guaranteed hours: 36 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 3x12-hour days - Start date: 07/27/2026 - Work setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital (travel assignment) Responsibilities - Perform diagnostic and screening mammography procedures as ordered, operating specialized breast imaging equipment. - Position patients, explain procedures, and ensure privacy and comfort throughout the exam. - Prepare for and assist the Radiologist with intricate mammography examinations, including breast biopsies. - Produce high-quality radiographic images and documentation to support clinical interpretation. - Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and patient privacy guidelines; maintain equipment and room readiness. - Collect pertinent patient information and relay preparation and aftercare instructions to care areas as directed. Requirements - Education: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology required. - Licenses/Certifications: Radiologic Tech (RT) and Mammography Technologist: Required in CA; ARRT-R required; ARRT-M required in OR, with CA and HI preferred; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Fluoroscopy license preferred in CA; Venipuncture certification preferred in CA; Mammographic Radiologic Technology (MRT) required. - Experience: Mammography Technologist experience preferred. - Additional: Ability to work in a hospital-based radiology department and meet state licensing and certification requirements for California.
