Overview Radiology Technologist – Multimodality | Clearlake, CA, United States | Start 08/03/2026 | 13 weeks | 2,557 to 2,625 per week | 36 guaranteed hours | Shift: 4x10 days. This travel temporary assignment is in a 25-bed critical access hospital setting. The role requires operating x-ray and computed tomography equipment and performing at least two modalities regularly, with a focus on high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient safety. Key Highlights - Pay rate: 2,557–2,625 per week - Guaranteed hours: 36 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 4x10-hour days - Start date: 08/03/2026 - Setting: Critical access hospital; on-site radiology department Responsibilities - Operate radiography and CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images, ensuring alignment with department protocols and patient safety standards. - Perform radiographic examinations and CT procedures, with competence in at least two imaging modalities. - Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs; position patients for optimal imaging while minimizing discomfort. - Prepare and handle contrast agents for imaging procedures and monitor patients for adverse reactions as needed. - Conduct routine maintenance checks on imaging equipment, test defibrillator and crash cart integrity, and assist with mobile imaging exams when required. - Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, select appropriate imaging protocols, and support departmental objectives to meet operational goals. Requirements - Licenses/Certifications: - Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice (CA) required - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required - Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent CPR certification required - State fluoroscopy permit required - ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) certification required - Certification in two additional advanced modalities (CT, Mammography, MRI, or Sonography) preferred - Education: - Associate’s Degree in radiologic technology required - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred; Master’s Degree preferred - Experience: - At least two years of recent experience in radiologic imaging required - Three years of technical experience preferred - Modality/Technical: - Ability to perform x-ray and CT procedures; experience with CT scanners (Siemens CT experience preferred or required per role) - Comfortable working in a fast-paced imaging environment; ability to safely prep and administer contrast agents - Additional: - Must be able to work in a 25-bed critical access hospital setting - State-specific licensure and permit requirements as outlined above - Must be able to meet the shift schedule (4x10-hour days) and travel assignment requirements Benefits and Support - 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours - 4x10-hour shift schedule - Dedicated support from a travel staffing team throughout the assignment - On-site credentialing and orientation processes to expedite start Find more opportunities If you’re open to other radiology travel roles, you can explore additional openings via the Hiring Organization URL: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply PAY DISCLAIMER Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
