Overview Registered Nurse – Emergency Department, Marysville, California. Start date: 08/10/2026. Duration: 8 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,042–$2,118 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36. Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 3x12 nights. Setting: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,042–$2,118 - Guaranteed hours: 36 per week - Contract duration: 8 weeks - Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (3x12) - Start date: 08/10/2026 - Facility/work setting: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital (travel assignment) Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care to diverse age groups within the ER, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. - Collaborate with physicians and the broader health care team to coordinate timely, safe patient care. - Monitor patient conditions, interpret telemetry, administer medications and treatments per the plan of care, and respond to emergencies. - Perform accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and participate in discharge planning and patient education. - Ensure patient safety and comfort, escalate issues as needed, and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff per scope of practice. Requirements - Active California RN license. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required at time of hire. - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required at time of hire; Interventions may include TNCC within 1 year and IV Sedation competency within 6 months for ER scope. - Minimum 2 years of recent ER/acute care nursing experience; demonstrated competency in Dysrhythmia during orientation. - Proficiency with Epic or EMR systems preferred.
