Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,117–$2,206 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 3x12 night shifts - Start date: 08/16/2026 - Setting: ER within a Short Term Acute Care Hospital - Orientation: 8-hour no-bill orientation (virtual) prior to start - Guaranteed hours: 0.0 hours Responsibilities - Deliver direct patient care in the emergency department for patients across a broad acuity spectrum, including triage, initial assessment, and ongoing monitoring. - Administer medications and therapies as ordered; manage IVs and airway support as needed; respond to changes in patient condition promptly. - Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record; maintain accurate, timely records. - Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the multidisciplinary team to develop and execute individualized care plans; participate in patient and family education. - Monitor for adverse events, support patient safety, and respond to code/rapid response events per protocol. - May float to units within scope of practice according to patient needs and unit policies.
