Overview Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in Marysville, California, United States. Start date 08/10/2026 for an 8-week assignment. Weekly pay range $2,017–$2,142 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift is 3x12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital Emergency Department. This assignment includes backfill needs and EPIC EMR experience is preferred. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,017–$2,142 per week - Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week - Contract duration: 8 weeks - Shift: 3x12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) - Start date: 08/10/2026 - Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital ER - EPIC backfill and EMR experience preferred Responsibilities - Provide direct nursing care to ER patients across the age spectrum as assigned, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care - Administer medications, IV therapies, and invasive procedures per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions - Observe and document patient status, respond to changes, and escalate concerns to the medical team promptly - Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care and ensure timely delivery of services - Prepare patients for procedures, assist with interventions, and manage post-procedure recovery as appropriate - Deliver patient and family education, discharge planning, and referrals to support services - Maintain safety, infection control, and quality standards; adhere to unit policies and legal scope of practice - Demonstrate competency in rhythm interpretation and other unit-specific skills; participate in ongoing orientation and training as required Requirements - Active Registered Nurse license in California - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required at time of hire - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required at time of hire - TNCC certification within 1 year of hire - Demonstrated IV Sedation competency within 6 months of hire - Dysrhythmia competency demonstrated during orientation (for all departments except Obstetrics and NICU) - Minimum of 2 years of recent ER nursing experience - Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Benefits and Support - 8-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours - Night shift schedule (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), 12-hour shifts - EPIC EMR experience preferred - Dedicated recruiter and on-call support during the assignment - Comprehensive credentialing and orientation support (as provided by the agency) Find more opportunities If this role isn’t a fit, you can explore other ER travel nursing openings posted by Healthforce Healthcare LLC at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
