Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $1,673–$1,761 per week - Guaranteed hours: 36 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 3x12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) - Start date: 08/10/2026 - Facility/work setting: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital travel assignment Responsibilities - Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. - Collect relevant data, analyze assessment findings, and determine diagnoses and care needs. - Develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care; coordinate care delivery with an interdisciplinary team. - Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; delegate appropriately. - Provide education to patients and families; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. - Maintain a safe, healing environment; document care, progress, and outcomes in the electronic health record. - Collaborate with the care team during rounds; communicate changes in patient status promptly. - Perform ancillary duties as needed while maintaining patient safety and quality of care. Requirements - Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California) required. - Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; CPR certification acceptable per policy. - Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field. - Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. - Essential skills: Ability to work in an acute care setting, manage high-acuity patients, and function effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Other: Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and comply with facility policies and credentialing requirements.
