Overview Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) needed for a travel assignment in Marysville, California. Start date: 08/10/2026. 8-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 AM – 07:00 PM). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital ER. This is a travel temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,018 – $2,138 per week - Guaranteed hours: 36 per week - Contract duration: 8 weeks - Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts - Start date: 08/10/2026 - Facility/work setting: ER in a short-term acute care hospital Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, including triage, assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care for a diverse patient population. - Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to coordinate timely interventions and deliver evidence-based care. - Administer medications, manage IVs, monitor cardiac rhythms, and respond to acute changes in patient status. - Perform fundamental procedures as permitted by scope of practice; support rapid sequence intubation and other urgent interventions as needed. - Document care accurately in the electronic medical record; educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up plans. - Ensure patient safety, advocate for patients, and participate in continuous quality improvement and applicable code/trauma response processes. Requirements - Licenses/Certifications: Current RN license in California; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required at time of hire for the Emergency Department; TNCC (within 1 year) and demonstrated competency in IV Sedation (within 6 months) as applicable; dysrhythmia competency demonstrated during orientation (for all depts except Obstetrics/NICU); EPIC EMR experience required. - Experience: At least 2 years of recent ER or acute care nursing experience. - Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. - Other: Ability to work in an acute care ER setting; valid nursing license per state of assignment; demonstrated adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
