Overview Registered Nurse – L&D for a travel assignment in Templeton, California. Start date: 08/03/2026 for a 13-week engagement. Weekly pay: $2,296–$2,369 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3x12). Setting: short-term acute care hospital. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,296–$2,369 per week - Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (3x12) - Start date: 08/03/2026 - Setting: short-term acute care hospital Responsibilities - Provide direct nursing care for obstetric patients across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. - Monitor maternal and fetal status, including fetal heart monitoring, vitals, and pain management; administer medications per orders and respond to obstetric emergencies. - Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and support staff; coordinate admissions, labor progression, delivery, and postpartum disposition; maintain accurate documentation. - Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and newborn care per hospital policy; promote safety and quality of care; participate in committees and quality initiatives as assigned. - Maintain the highest standards of professional practice and ethics; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies; demonstrate reliability and effective teamwork. - Availability for on-site care in a labor and delivery setting, with no on-call requirement; participate in ongoing orientation and competency validation.
