Overview Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D), travel assignment in Ukiah, CA, starting August 3, 2026 for 13 weeks. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,530–$2,653 per week - Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: Day shift, 12-hour shifts (approximately 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.) - Start date: August 3, 2026 - Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital in Ukiah, CA Responsibilities - Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group in Labor & Delivery according to established standards and the nursing process. - Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with obstetric, neonatal, anesthesiology, and ancillary teams. - Collect relevant data, analyze assessments, and develop care plans to achieve outcomes; implement plans and promote patient safety. - Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team; participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and families. - Delegate appropriately and coordinate tasks among the healthcare team; monitor and evaluate progress toward outcome goals. - Provide support for postpartum and neonatal care as part of the unit’s care delivery, including level II NICU considerations when applicable.
