Overview Registered Nurse, Med Surg – Bangor, ME, United States. Start 08/17/2026 for 13 weeks on a travel assignment in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range: $2,179–$2,217 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12-hour Nights. Responsibilities - Provide direct bedside nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients, including initial assessments, ongoing vital signs, and monitoring. - Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders; observe for adverse reactions and document responses. - Maintain accurate charting and documentation; communicate changes in patient status to the multidisciplinary team. - Monitor telemetry as indicated and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions; escalate to the charge nurse or physician as needed. - Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case management; educate patients and families, and assist with discharge planning and safety/ infection control practices.
