Overview Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) in Lodi, California. This travel assignment starts on August 17, 2026 for an eight-week contract with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Earn approximately $2,114 to $2,209 per week while working a 3x12‑hour day shift in a short-term acute care hospital setting. This role involves perioperative nursing with coordination across surgical teams and support staff. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: 2,114 – 2,209 USD per week - Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week - Contract duration: 8 weeks - Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts - Start date: August 17, 2026 - Facility/work setting: Short-term acute care hospital with an operating room department Responsibilities - Deliver coordinated perioperative nursing care for a patient or group of patients according to established standards and the nursing process. - Assess patient data and develop an individualized perioperative plan of care; implement the plan and coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesia, and other disciplines. - Monitor patient status intraoperatively, ensuring sterile technique, patient safety, and infection control throughout the procedure. - Delegate appropriately and supervise various levels of nursing staff; collaborate with the treatment team to promote a safe, healing environment. - Participate in discharge planning and provide patient/family education and learning opportunities for care continuity after surgery. - Document care activities and patient progress in the medical record; support backfill needs with EPIC and Cerner systems as applicable.
