Unarmed Security Officer

Job Title: Unarmed Security GuardLocation: Mason/Yerington Area, NevadaJob Type: Part-Time to Full-TimePay: $21-24/hour (regular)+1 hour travel time per shiftSchedule: 12 hour shifts, 3 days per weekOverview:We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Unarmed Security Guard to join our team at our client's site in Mason/Yerington area of Nevada. The security guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and the facilities. This role will mainly consist of vehicle patrol. Please do not apply if you do not have a valid DL.Responsibilities:- Patrol in vehicle the premises regularly to ensure the security of the site.- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activities.- Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance.- Warn violators of rule infractions, such as trespassing or loitering, and apprehend or evict them from the premises if necessary.- Report any security breaches, safety hazards, or unusual incidents.- Provide assistance to employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.- Conduct periodic checks of equipment and systems such as lighting, gates, and fences to ensure they are operational and secure.- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies if needed.- Maintain accurate records and write detailed incident reports.Requirements:- Must possess a valid Driver's License and may be required to submit a copy of their driving record.- Proven experience as a security guard or relevant position preferred.- Valid registration card from Nevada's private investigator licensing board- Ability to operate security equipment such as surveillance cameras and alarms.- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.- Physical ability to patrol the premises on foot and respond to incidents quickly.- Must be dependable and punctual.Preferred Qualifications:- Certification in CPR/First Aid/AED is a plus.- Prior experience in security for industrial sites or solar farms.Working Conditions:- This position may require working outdoors in various weather conditions.- Shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.- Physical requirements include standing, walking, and occasionally lifting or moving objects up to 50 lbs.Benefits:- Weekly pay every Wednesday.- Health Insurance- Opportunities for career advancement within the security department.- Travel reimbursement included.Star Pro Security Patrol, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
