You will be part of a diverse, multicultural team that values respect, collaboration, and empathy. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ The Immigration Case Manager is responsible for maintaining oversight of active caseload and ensuring matters continue moving through the firm’s processes appropriately. This is primarily a case-management and caseload-oversight position, not a form-preparation position. **Primary Responsibilities** • Manage and monitor a large portfolio of active immigration matters. • Review case-management data to identify urgent, overdue, stalled or inactive matters. • Monitor deadlines, tasks, case status and next actions. • Ensure each matter has clear ownership and appropriate follow-up. • Follow up with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants and other staff regarding outstanding work. • Monitor whether clients are receiving appropriate updates and whether requested client documents/information are being pursued. • Identify cases requiring escalation to an attorney or management. • Maintain accurate case-management information and ensure staff properly document activity. • Use Docketwise reports, workflows, tasks and case information to monitor the caseload. • Provide management with concise weekly reporting on caseload health, priorities, risks and exceptions. • Help improve workflows and case-management processes when recurring problems are identified. ## Requirements - Someone who is organized, analytical, accountable and comfortable managing a large volume of matters simultaneously. - U.S. immigration experience is important, but candidates do not need experience in every immigration case type.
