Inspired by the streets of Seoul & Tokyo, Mee So transports you to the hustle and bustle of these modern and intriguing cities, all in the heart of Sydney’s Surry Hills. As our Venue Manager, this hands-on leadership role is all about being at the heart of the action. You’ll lead the day-to-day operations of Mee So alongside the hotel’s breakfast operations, bringing energy, personality and your own style while developing a passionate and high-performing team. You’ll play a key role in shaping the food and beverage experience across the hotel, with a focus on beverage curation, authentic service, exceptional menu execution and creating memorable moments for every guest – from the morning breakfast rush through to evenings at Mee So.
Bring your own style to the table, along with: Previous experience leading a fast-paced restaurant, bar or hotel food and beverage operation A confident, energetic and hands-on leadership style with the ability to inspire and develop your team Experience overseeing breakfast operations and delivering a consistent, high-quality guest experience A genuine interest in Asian food and beverage trends, with the curiosity to explore new ideas and experiences A guest-obsessed mindset and passion for creating memorable experiences Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships The ability to balance operational performance, service standards and a positive team culture Availability to work full-time hours across a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays A valid NSW RSA Valid Australian working rights
