You'll be supported by: An experienced Vet Director with more than 30 years in the profession A collaborative veterinary and nursing team who love sharing knowledge A culture where learning and development are encouraged A team that genuinely enjoys working together and helping each other succeed About the Role This is a casual Veterinary Nurse position, ideal for an experienced nurse looking for flexibility while continuing to work in a busy and rewarding clinical environment. We're looking for someone who can confidently step into the clinic and support the team across all aspects of veterinary nursing. Responsibilities will include: Assisting veterinarians during consultations, treatments, and procedures Surgical preparation and theatre assistance Monitoring anaesthesia and patient recovery Medical nursing and inpatient care Collecting samples and performing pathology testing Administering medications and treatments Emergency and critical care nursing support Dental procedures and patient care Maintaining hygiene and infection control standards throughout the clinic Providing exceptional customer service and client communication Supporting reception and administrative duties when required Contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic As a casual team member, your ability to adapt quickly and confidently support the team where needed will be highly valued. About You We're looking for someone who: Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing Has at least 2 years of clinical veterinary nursing experience Is confident and competent across both medical and surgical nursing Can work independently and hit the ground running with minimal supervision Demonstrates excellent animal handling skills Has strong anaesthetic monitoring and patient care capabilities Communicates confidently and professionally with both clients and colleagues Remains calm and organised in a busy environment Brings a positive, team-first attitude Has experience using RxWorks (advantageous but not essential) Most importantly, you're someone who genuinely cares about patient outcomes, supports your teammates, and takes pride in the care you provide.
