The Technology team is hiring a Village IT Operations Manager. The role The Village IT Operations Manager ensures a reliable, secure and cost-effective technology environment that enables operational continuity and a high-quality guest and brand partner experience. The role owns local IT service performance, infrastructure resilience and the successful delivery of technology change in alignment with Central IT and The Bicester Collection standards. Location: La Vallée Village Starting minimum salary: €52,000 What you'll be doing A few of the key responsibilities in this role: Deliver responsive, guest-conscious IT services across the Village, acting as the local escalation point for material issues and keeping technology ready for key events and peak trading periods Keep our infrastructure resilient and secure, overseeing networks, Wi-Fi, telephony, audiovisual and smart building technologies, and working closely with Central IT on security updates, patching and risk Lead local technology projects and upgrades from requirements through to testing, training, go-live and early-life support, embedding practical improvements along the way Manage assets, suppliers and costs with confidence, holding partners to agreed service levels and ensuring value and compliance across the full technology lifecycle Lead and collaborate, coaching your team, building trusted supplier relationships and working across Village functions and Central IT to deliver shared priorities What we're looking for We foster a culture of winning together, and we work hard to ensure everyone is supported to succeed. To thrive in this role, you'll bring: Proven IT operations leadership, with experience running service or infrastructure operations across a distributed or multi-site environment, and the discipline to govern incidents, changes, risk and service quality Strong technical grounding in Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, VLAN, telephony and audiovisual systems, plus experience overseeing CCTV, access control and connected building technologies Confident project delivery, with a track record of planning and delivering local technology implementations from requirements through to go-live, and managing multiple stakeholders, timelines and dependencies along the way Commercial and supplier confidence, with experience managing service providers, asset lifecycles and service levels while making cost-conscious decisions Clear, influential communication, translating technical risk and service impact into decisions that local and central stakeholders can act on, alongside genuine digital curiosity and confidence adopting new tools, including AI-enabled solutions What we offer A warm welcome, the chance to build an ever-evolving career story, and benefits designed around your lifestyle, physical, mental and social wellbeing Our commitment We're proud to be a diverse and inclusive employer — and we mean it.
