Whether you're looking for a single-family home, townhome, or condo, Harbor Homes makes it easy and more affordable.As a Warranty Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to process warranty claims and assist customers through their warranty period.Job ResponsibilitiesServe as the main point of contact for all customers post-closeMonitor email daily for customer notifications/warranty claimsEnter all closed homes into warranty process and enter pre-close warranty items not yet completed into the warranty portalUpload and manage all warranty documents in customer portal and internal filesEvaluate warranty claims to help identify emergency concernsCoordinate warranty service appointments with trade partners and homeownersEnter warranty appointment invites into BuilderTrend (8 weeks prior to appointment) and provide follow-up reminders (4 weeks before 120 day/11 month appointments)Work with Construction Manager/Warranty Technician to schedule trade partners for appointmentsOrder necessary parts for upcoming warranty appointmentsFollow up on outstanding warranty claims and close out items as they are completedCompile and maintain seasonal work log while coordinating seasonal work repairsAssemble customer walkthrough/orientation packets along with proper documentationManage back-end coordination of the customer walkthrough/orientation process through proprietary software applicationRun monthly warranty related reportsCompose routine correspondence to customers through BuilderTrend software or emailCore Competencies/Required Skills and Abilities1+ year of professional office experienceDemonstrate ability to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyMaintain a positive attitude and business casual appearancePossess basic computer skills, including Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, and ExcelShow professional, discreet manner in maintaining confidentiality including information received and proprietary reportsExhibit strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including courteous and efficient telephone mannerEffectively handle moderately complex questions and issues under minimal directionWork independently and with a teamPhysical Demands: Must be able to sit 6-8 hours per day.
